Élan Up-Flow filter housings out perform conventional filters because outlets are located above inlets to provide the following significant advantages: NO air entrapment in filter housing during operation. NO vents required because air is self-purged.
NO lost capacity due to air pockets; entire filter medium is utilized at all times.
NO by-pass during servicing; liquid can only exit filter housing after filtering.
